What You’ll Be Doing
Profitable Tradie is looking for a Financial Administrator to support the day-to-day finance operations that keep our business running strong. You’ll be responsible for accurate bookkeeping, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and member billing, while ensuring everything is clean, compliant, and on time.
You’ll collaborate with the Administration Manager and wider team to support reporting, improve systems, and stay across any changes to member accounts or internal processes.
You will:
Handle daily bookkeeping, reconciliations, and accurate data entry
Manage invoicing, payments, and supplier relationships
Monitor bank accounts and initiate transfers when needed
Onboard and offboard members across our payment and CRM platforms
Track and manage recurring payments and follow up on overdue accounts
Process weekly payroll and team reimbursements accurately and on schedule
Prepare AR, cash forecasting, and monthly financial reports
Cross-check commissions against CRM data before final approval
Support ad hoc finance projects and system improvements
Who You Are
You’re someone who thrives on clarity, order, and accuracy. You’re confident juggling spreadsheets, payment systems, and financial platforms. You’ve got a sharp eye for detail that spots issues before they become problems. You’re professional, consistent, and take real pride in doing things properly.
You bring:
2 to 3 years of experience in bookkeeping, financial admin, or accounts roles
Strong working knowledge of Xero and confidence across multiple digital tools
A methodical, detail-first mindset and reliable follow-through
Solid communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members across departments
Integrity and discretion when handling sensitive financial information
