Profitable Tradie helps trade business owners across New Zealand, Australia and North America build more profitable, better-run businesses.

Through coaching, education, events, tools and resources, we help our members take control of their businesses and create a better life.

And we’re growing. Which means we need a Product leader who can keep raising the bar on what we deliver and how we deliver it.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll lead the strategy, people and performance of our Product Department - bringing together curriculum, training, events, resources, video, member experience and partnerships into one connected, high-quality offering.

You’ll set the direction, decide what matters most and turn company strategy into clear priorities, with the right people accountable for delivering them.

You’ll build a high-performing team that takes ownership, delivers on its commitments and produces work it’s proud of. That means coaching people to grow, setting clear expectations and addressing performance when it falls short.

You’ll also own the standard of the member experience. From the quality of our training to the way our events and resources help members take action, you’ll make sure what we deliver is practical, relevant and genuinely valuable.

And you’ll keep asking the question that matters most: Is this helping our members get better results?

Working closely with Coaching, Marketing, Sales, Operations and the Executive Team, you’ll use member feedback, data and commercial insight to keep improving our offering and contributing to PT’s growth.

Who You Are

You’re a strategic leader who knows how to turn a big-picture vision into consistent results.

You lead through others. You set clear expectations, give honest feedback, develop great people and hold your team accountable without micromanaging or stepping in to do everyone’s job.

You have a sharp eye for quality and know the difference between work that’s simply finished and work that’s genuinely excellent.

You’re commercially minded. You understand that great Product isn’t just about creating a brilliant experience - it’s about delivering real value for members and helping the business grow.

You’re decisive, organised and comfortable making tough calls. You can prioritise what matters, build systems that make quality repeatable and keep things moving without needing someone to chase you.

Most importantly, you care about outcomes. You want to know whether members are getting better results, whether your team is thriving and whether the department is making a meaningful contribution to the business.
